SHEQXEL HSE Observation Tracker is the tool you need if you don’t have a system to drive your Behavior Based Safety (BBS) program in terms of recording and tracking your HSE Observation Cards, SHOC Cards, Action Cards, and Stop Cards.

Why do you need this tool? If your BBS program is paper-based, you need a system to capture the details, follow up on what unsafe acts or conditions have been reported, know how long remedies have been pending, and make the effort to narrow the gap, since the longer it takes to resolve the simple things, the higher is the likelihood that they can escalate by domino effect and perfect storm to result in an accident.

This tool helps to recognize the employees who have contributed most to BBS program to maintain a safe workplace.

The tool has 4 main features;

The Approved List is the setting section where users can set and update their observation categories based on the categories observed from their BBS program. The list comprises the positive and the negative categories and they serve as input for the observation category in the source data sheet.

The Source Data features the type of card, observations, observation category, evidence by way of pictures, observed by, corrective/preventive actions, evidence of closure, status, actual closing date, closing variance, closed by, inspected by, and remarks. The source data dynamically tracks the closing variance, which is the difference between the date observation was made and when it was closed. The target is to keep it to the minimum to imply all personnel responds quickly to observations by way of corrective actions.

The Dashboard is dynamically designed with stacked bar charts, clattered column charts, and a progress chart to visualize all open and closed actions, and progress towards the Overall Corrective Action Rate target.

The rest of the sheets are pivot tables and graphs to show monthly observations, the observation categories for the types of cards, the CAPA (Action) status from observations, the monthly types of card produced, the observations by persons to ascertain who has contributed most to keeping people’s behaviors alight to right behaviors and the day’s  observations were closed

This is a Microsoft excel file hence no installation is required and can run on both Windows and Mac with Microsoft Excel 2013 (+ Later Versions)
